Barbara Goldstein
Barbara Goldstein has over twenty-five years of experience in both the public and private sector. Her professional experience is built upon her academic accomplishments, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana and an MBA in Finance from Loyola University of Chicago.
Barbara has spent the past two years with RYE Consulting, focusing on the areas of School Finance and Operations, providing guidance on financial modeling, budget projections and procedures. For seven years she served as Director of Finance and Operations for a non-profit, private school. During this time, she successfully lead a school business office in every aspect of non-curricular functions, including budgeting, cash flow management, compliance, facilities management and construction.
She is also certified as a School Business Official. Her past experience includes serving on a local school board for eighteen years, including two years as president; twelve years serving on a special education board, for twenty members districts; and eight years on the board of a cooperative that provided services to students that are deaf and hard of hearing, serving three years as President.
