Although you do not have to be a participant in the certificate program to take this course, students interested in applying it towards the Certificate in Assistive Technology are encouraged to visit the department’s web site. Description: An introduction to the delivery of assistive technology (AT) services in the PreK-12 educational setting. Includes the legal foundation, models of AT service delivery, and practical components of AT consideration, assessment, and documentation.
